Mission Statement

At Puget Sound Computer Science Teachers Association (PSCSTA) – aka CSTA Puget Sound (WA) - our mission is:
 
Provide community, professional development, support, and advocacy for computer science teachers throughout Washington and help them provide equitable, high-quality CS education to all K-12 Washington state students.
 
While our origins are in the Puget Sound region, we are dedicated to supporting CS teachers and the equitable growth of CS education throughout Washington.
 
PSCSTA is a local chapter of the national organization, CSTA (Computer Science Teachers Association).  CSTA is a nationwide membership organization run by computer science teachers, for computer science teachers.   To learn more about CSTA, view About CSTA.
 
The policies and activities of our chapter shall not reflect any political partisanship, nor any preference, discrimination, or limitation based on sex, race, or religious affiliation.
 
The 2024-25 PSCSTA Board consists of the following:
